To start off, I tested both free and paid versions of the app for a total of 10 days. During this time, I sent over 50 messages to other users on the platform so that I could get a good sense for how it worked from all angles – as someone who is looking for dates but also as someone receiving messages from potential matches.
I then took some time away from using HER Dating App itself to look into its features more closely: what kind of matching algorithm does it use? What safety measures are in place? Is there any sort of customer service available if something goes wrong? All these questions were answered with detailed research before returning back onto the app again (this time without sending out any more messages).
To really round out my review process though, after spending 20+ hours researching every aspect about HER Dating App’s features and functionality; plus another 10 days testing both free & paid versions while messaging dozens upon dozens people – only then did I feel confident enough write up my final thoughts on this dating app experience! This level commitment sets me apart from many other reviews sites which don’t offer such an in-depth approach when reviewing apps like these.
Ugh, HER Dating App. Where do I even begin? It’s supposed to be a revolutionary dating app for queer women but it falls short in so many ways.
First off, the free version of this app is pretty much useless if you’re looking for something serious – no swiping or anything! You can only view other users’ profiles and send messages if they’ve liked your profile first which makes it really hard to find someone compatible with you. Plus, their "unique" features like "events" are just a way of trying to get people to pay up for the premium subscription service – not cool! The paid version isn’t any better either: there’s still no real swiping feature (which let’s face it is essential on most modern dating apps) and all that extra money doesn’t seem worth what little access you get when compared with other similar services out there. On top of that they have some weird rules about how long conversations should last before meeting up in person – why bother making them at all then?!
All-in-all I’d say avoid HER Dating App unless you want an incredibly frustrating experience; instead try one of its competitors who actually offer decent features without having such restrictive policies attached…

On top of that I encountered quite a few fake profiles during my time using the app; thankfully none seemed malicious or dangerous…just kind of annoying when trying find potential matches without having weed through fakes first.
All in all? Not impressed by HER Dating App at all – definitely wouldn’t recommend unless things drastically change soon!

So basically forget about making any changes yourself without spending money first… talk about rubbing salt into wounds right? Plus their customer service team doesn’t seem too keen on helping out either – which isn’t great considering how many people use their services every day around the world… sighhhh…. What a total bummer!!
Overall, if design and usability are important factors for choosing an online dating site/app then look elsewhere because HER definitely does NOT tick those boxes unfortunately….
