If you’re looking for a dating app that offers safety and security, JamaicanDating isn’t the one. This online platform falls short when it comes to verifying users, fighting against bots and fake accounts, offering two-step verification options or manually reviewing photos.
When I signed up with this service I was surprised by how easy it was – all they asked me for were my name and email address! No wonder there are so many bots on here…there’s no way of telling who is real or not. And if someone does happen to be genuine? Well good luck getting them verified because JamaicanDating doesn’t have any kind of verification process in place at all! It’s like an open invitation for scammers and spammers alike – definitely not ideal if you’re trying to find love safely online.
What about privacy? You’d think that would be taken seriously but unfortunately even their privacy policy leaves something (or rather a lot) to be desired as well; without going into too much detail let’s just say they don’t seem particularly concerned with protecting your data either which means anyone could potentially access your personal information quite easily…yikes!
The only thing remotely resembling security on this site is its photo review system where each image uploaded has been approved before being made visible – however given the lack of other safeguards in place we can hardly rely on this alone as protection from fraudsters or malicious actors out there preying upon unsuspecting singles searching for love via apps such as these.
All things considered then, Jamaica Dating might look attractive enough from first glance but once you start digging deeper into what exactly it offers (or more accurately fails to offer!) then alarm bells should certainly start ringing loud enough that nobody needs warning twice about using this particular platform….not unless they want trouble anyway!.
Ah, JamaicanDating. I’m not sure what they were thinking when they decided to launch this site – it’s like a bad case of deja vu! From the free features that are available (or lack thereof) to the paid ones, there is nothing unique or special about this dating platform.
Let’s start with their free services: you can create an account and browse through other users’ profiles but if you want to actually communicate with someone else on here then prepare yourself for disappointment because messaging isn’t included in the package – so much for trying before buying! On top of that, all searches have been limited as well; no matter how hard I tried searching by age range or location, nothing came up at all which made me wonder why even bother having those filters?
Moving onto their paid services…well let’s just say don’t get your hopes up too high because again there really isn’t anything special about them either. Sure you’ll be able to message people who catch your eye and access some more advanced search options such as mutual interests etc., but these aren’t exactly groundbreaking features now are they? And speaking of payment plans…the prices seem quite steep compared to other sites out there so unless money grows on trees where you live then maybe give this one a miss altogether.
All in all JamaicanDating has left me feeling underwhelmed; from its lackluster design right down its lacklustre feature set –it doesn’t offer anything new or exciting which makes it pretty forgettable overall. If only they had put more effort into making something truly unique instead of simply relying on Caribbean stereotypes….but hey ho- c’est la vie!

If you’re looking for a dating site with Jamaican flair, then look no further than JamaicanDating. But don’t be fooled by the name – this isn’t an ideal spot to find your soulmate! The user profiles are public and can be viewed by anyone who visits the website, so there’s not much privacy if that’s what you’re after. You also won’t have any luck setting up a custom bio – it doesn’t exist here!
The location info in each profile is visible as well; unfortunately there’s no way to hide it either. And while some users may include their distance from other members on their profile page, most do not provide such information which makes finding someone close-by quite difficult (unless of course they live in Jamaica). Even worse? There aren’t really any benefits for having a premium subscription when compared to using the free version of the site – I mean come on now…you could get more bang for your buck elsewhere!
To top off my negative review about JamaicanDating, I encountered plenty of fake profiles during my time testing out this service too – definitely something worth considering before signing up yourself. All things considered though…if all else fails and nothing else works out…this might just be one option that could work in theory but probably won’t pan out in practice due its lacklustre features and lackluster security measures. So save yourself some time (and money) – go ahead and give another online dating platform like Match or eHarmony try instead because trust me: you’ll thank me later!!
